The college’s Business Students Association will host a business expo where students can listen to speakers from the business world, and get free food.
The expo will take place on April 7 in the EATM lecture hall, room 208, at 2:30 p.m. and will feature Mustang Marketing’s Dianne McKay and Millionaire Talk website-owner Roger Van Sluis.
“This year’s Business Expo will be taking a new approach, we are bringing in talented speakers who will keep students interested in all aspects of business,” said Melad Safdari, BSA president.
Mckay, who works as a trustee for the Ventura County Community College District, will be sharing her experiences in the business world, marketing strategies and what employers are looking for.
As an entrepreneur, Van Sluis will be offering a different perspective and discuss how he became so successful and his beginnings at a community college.
Those interested are encouraged to attend the event and enjoy drinks and pizza that will be provided by the BSA.
