Do you think you have what it takes to challenge your fitness levels while having fun? If so, then next Wednesday take part in the Raider Pentathlon and Expo.

The five events, held on April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the quad outside the campus center, have changed from last year and will now include: battle jacks, barrier rabbits, medicine ball sit-ups, tire flips and Vipr joust. There will be prizes for the top three winners in the men’s, women’s and faculty’s divisions.

“[There will be] about 250 [people],” said Fitness Specialist John Cribari. “[It’s] a little more than last year.”

Besides competing in the events, students can also be enter into contests where raffle prizes will be given away. Lulu Lemons will also be there, said Cribari.

Cribari said 50 percent of all the proceeds made will be donated to the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network. There will also be volunteers at the event doing cheek swabs for Be the Match, where you can be matched to someone in need of a bone marrow transplant.

People can sign up for the event up until April 26 at the price of $25. If you sign up the day of the event, the price will be $30.
