Moorpark College's football team went undefeated all of October and held that title even in the final stretch during their game against Los Angeles Valley College.
The United States Football League held their inaugural player draft from February 22-23. Two players that were selected in this draft were defensive back Jalin Burrell, and wide receiver Ray Bolden. Both former Moorpark College athletes were drafted by the Michigan Panthers.
The Raiders are planning to come back big with their first game being a home game against Ventura College. The two schools have been rivals from the start due to them being sister schools in the Ventura County Community College District. This sibling rivalry game has been given a special title and even has its own award to the winner, The Citrus Cup.
